The city of Dallas built a brand-new animal shelter in 2007. The citizens of Dallas paid for it. So why are we still killing almost 80% of the animals that need shelter?

You might want to visit the blog of the guy who designed the parody. I'm guessing he put the dog's photo in the parody as it's on the HSUS Web site.
Re Anonymous' comments: I had no idea MAC was having a meeting. They're probably too busy rejecting applications from local rescue groups who applied to join.
You can't join MAC unless you agree with 100% of the MAC party line. Too bad they can't figure out how much damage their divisive attitude - straight out of junior high, imo - is causing.
