Considering we won't have Kent Robertson there to mutter that he'll look into things, it might be particularly interesting.
From a forwarded e-mail:
"The next meeting of the Dallas Animal Commission will be held on August 26...at 1:30 in the afternoon. It is not being held at the Animal Shelter, but at Dallas City Hall in room 6C South."

Why did Kent Robertson get off with no charges? Didn't he know about the cat in the wall?
I know many people watching the City of Dallas website for the meeting notice and agenda for the DASC information. NO matter that Ms. England would like to absolve the Committee for the notice not going up on the website but its just not believable due to the consistent happening. If the Chairman or Secretary doesn't get the information to the appropriate people, its the Committee's doing.
People have to nag the Animal Shelter Commission for meeting minutes, and for the date/time of the meetings themselves.
The fact that they aren't posted on the City Secretary's Web site is indicative of the Commission's attitude towards the public - which is that their meetings are none of our business.
Do you think there is a connection that it went up on the city's website after 5:00 p.m.? It still was late since it was not 72 hours before the meeting, the stamp shows it came in (apparently) at approx. 8:30 a.m. and the Agenda shows it will be in a different room from what was said prior to this being published. The agenda says room 6 ES as I recall.
I meant to ask if there might be a connection in the post here that told it was late and then it being posted, still late but at least it was up?
The point is, is that it was late! One would think that one small Committee could get it done correctly.
